Why does most gossip happen in middle school?

If you are talking about the older kids in middle school, sometimes they were bullied by others when they were new in middle school, so they feel like they need to be a pick on 'the new kids'. Others are just now going through puberty, so there are many changes going on in their bodies. Also, some feel they are 'better' than the new kids. They also could be nervous about being in high school soon. Do your best to ignore kids that are 'snotty' to you. You will make it, just focus on your classes. Everyone has to go through 'upperclassmen. This will just make you stronger. A: its jst the way certain ppl r, and ya probly sometimes they r pissy from puperty. but theirs rly no scientific answer. ---- what if you are in a new school and it is allmost everyone and at your old school people treated you pretty good and i been there since october and i need help caus ei actually cut myself over that place they wont let me alnoe and i told teachers my mom and my older sister is trying to help but i have to wait till next year cause my mom said i said i would i ddi but i cant what should i do i am desperate

Not all high School age students are mean. They can be mean or seem to be mean for various reasons. It could be that they are jealous, or that they have a bad home life. Boys may be trying to show off for their friends. A girl may be trying to show a boy that they like them. They may just be having a bad day.
