Visible light from the photosphere (the Sun's surface) normally "swamps" the light from the outer parts. But the Sun's disc is covered during an eclipse, allowing us to see the Sun's "atmosphere".

That's because the light from the sun itself is so bright that it completely over-shines these features.

because moon is too near to the earth than the sun,that's why only chromosphere and corona can be seen
