Because people are total idiots and dont know how to care for animals properly
Also its because people cant afford to take care of them or arent responsible enough. Also it might be because the cat might have a diesease and the owner doesnt want to pay fir the vet fee

∙ 13y agoMaybe someone found them annoying because they meowed too much, or because they stunk up the house, or I don't know what. But if you don't want a cat anymore, then you should probably give it to a rescue or set it up for adoption or give it to someone you know. Abandoning a cat or dog, or any type of animal, is a form of animal abuse. When you are away on vacation or for more than one day, make sure there is someone to care for the cats or dogs.
