air contains moisture & suction line is very cold both in contact moisture turns into ice. just a joke
In a simple system with a fixed orfice expansion device for example, an overcharge will increase suction and head pressure. Compressor amps will also increase. Overall refrigeration capacity will be reduced. lc
orifice
Oil in the compressor may leak into the refrigeration system, this oil must be allowed to settle back into the compressor, or it may cause a breakdown due to system blockage
In practical applications, vapor-compression refrigeration systems are the most commonly used refrigeration systems, and each system employs a compressor. In a basic vapor compression refrigeration cycle as shown in Figure 3.28, four major thermal processes take place as follows: • evaporation, • compression, • condensation, and • expansion.
cause its a gas
1.It can enters to the compressor through suction line and can damages the parts of the compressor.2.it can carry out
The refrigeration system used in air conditioners with rotary compressor, the discharged gas is entered firstly into the doom of the compressor, while the system used with reciprocating and other compressors, it is admitted into the discharge tube. and are suction cooled. Why in rotary systems, the discharge refrigerant directly admit into the doom first.
In a simple system with a fixed orfice expansion device for example, an overcharge will increase suction and head pressure. Compressor amps will also increase. Overall refrigeration capacity will be reduced. lc
right before the compressor
Oil in a AC compressor is there so that the mechanical parts don't over heat from friction
To prevent wear on the compressor.
Suction gas
orifice
Low side.
A refrigeration circuit is provided with a quench line connecting the liquid line and the suction line and containing a QEV. The QEV is controlled responsive to the superheat of the refrigerant supplied to the compressor. By injecting liquid refrigerant downstream of the suction modulation valve and the sensor for the TXV, the system can be operated at low capacity without overheating the compressor oil.
Two problems that a refrigeration system could have are compressor problems or a lack of or loss of refrigerant gas.
