He died because he insulted a dlophosaurus (called Spitter) and spitter spits toxic into his eyes, thus blinding him, and he stumbles into his Jeep, only to find out that spitter clambered into it already, but it was already to late for poor Dennis, for he gets devoured by "dilophosaurus".
