yes it does!! virginia does have earthquakes!! if you are reading this on 8/23/11 well you should know there was an earthquake in virginia. i felt the earthquake it shook my whole house! in fact it shoook new york! and a lot of other states like atlanta. its on the CNN news right now. they said it was a 5.8 earthquake..... wow... and i was about to go to a vacation in virginia..... --melissa p.s. ok this was the first "p.s" i did and there has been a lot of earthquakes happening like in haiti and japan and now virginia..... i still dont belive in 2012 though.

Any state can have an earthquake, but California has more than others. Oklahoma has had some recently, and in August of 2011, a 5.8 magnitude earthquake in Virginia was felt for many states around !
