An acoustic guitar is played by plucking the strings by hand or using a pick to move the strings. The sound varies based on the string chosen and how hard it is hit.
Washburn Guitar Company began manufacturing guitars and other various string "plucking" instruments, in the year 1883, based out of Chicago, Illinois.
The word "pluck" can have multiple meanings depending on the context. It can refer to picking or pulling something with fingers or tools, having courage or determination, or playing a musical instrument such as a guitar with fingers.
The plucking of the strings causes the sting to vibrate - the longer the string and smaller diameter the higher the tone produced.
you can but you will no longer have an E string since a B string wont tune that high
On a guitar this refers to harmonic tones that sound chime like. An example would be produced by plucking the string while lightly touching the string above the 12th fret and releasing the touch on the string as soon as it is plucked.

hold the string that you're strumming up, it works for me.
the larger the amplitude at which something vibrates = the louder the sound. so by plucking a string harder, you're increasing the amplitude of the sound waves and thus increasing the sound volume
