Selena fired Yolanda Saldivar on March 12, 1995. Yolanda was confronted by Selena's father about missing financial records and bogus checks relating to Selena's fan club and Selena's boutiques. On March 31, 1995, Selena went to the Days Inn to collect the missing financial records and was shot by Yolanda. Yolanda has never said why she murdered Selena and actually claims it was an accident.

∙ 11y agoSalvador killed Selena because she was jealous and she got mad over an argument and took out her gun and shoot her. Also she knew that she would tell the police and she had no other chose but to kill Selena Quintanilla :(

∙ 14y agowell, yolanda(the murderer) killed her because selana and her father found out that she was stealing money that selana gave her for the fan club(yolanda was the preident) selana aasaked to show her the reciepts for the things she bought for the fan club or whatever so yolanda said sure meet me in a hotel so she did and when she didn't have any reciepts and when selana walked out she shot her in the back... p.s. yolanda is STILL in jail, and they officers have to keep her isoltaed from others because she CONSTANTLY gets death threats that when she gets out of jail
