The reason that they do is because when they try to hold on to something they can still breath. If you dont unerstand do this. Take a pillow, put a little in your mouth like you are chewing on it now try to beath with your nose. Cant do it? Well Boston Terriers and other dogs can still do that because their mouth is out and their nose is back.
