Because most of us are catholic or christians and Christmas is the birth of Jesus Christ and like most birthdays, we celebrate. Christmas is also like a family reunion for us, huge feasts, games and so much more! This is why we love Christmas holidays. :)
Filipinos love to celebrate Christmas holidays because it is deeply rooted in their culture and traditions. Christmas is considered the longest and most festive season in the Philippines, with people starting to decorate their homes and play Christmas Music as early as September. It is a time for family gatherings, gift-giving, and spreading joy and goodwill to others. Filipinos also celebrate Christmas as a time to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ and express their strong faith and religiosity.

whoever just answered this question just waisted time. acctually, they do. not in the normal sense. Christmas (or whatever winter holiday they celebrate) is celebrated not by the coming of santa, but by frieds and family. they bring examined gifts and cards and give their love on the holidays.

Christmas is really just the device Dickens uses to make his point about love, generosity and humanity, so it would certainly be enjoyed by people who do not celebrate Christmas. It's not purely a denominational story.
Christmas of course was set by Jesus because it was a day to celebrate his birth. Valentine's Day was set by a man called St. Valentine, for a holiday of love. Thanksgiving was established by the Pilgrims and Indians, all pretty basic stuff.
What is unique about Christmas is that it is a christian festival to celebrate the day that Jesus was born as a saviour to our earth he who would save us from sin and today we celebrate that day as a sign of respect and to show our love for him.
Christmas gift tags usually have "TO" and "FROM" written on them. The words help to show where to write who gets the gift and who the gift is from.
