He is MARRIED!!!!Some men and women like to throw out bait to many peeople. Quite likely, this man has got many women hes interested in and he too busy for you. I would not bother. AnswerMost men (who really should still be called boys) enjoy the chase much more than the catch. Once they have you they have proven to themselves that "they still have it" and now it's time to move on to the next victim. The only way to keep him running after you is if you don't stop running from him. Men are creatures of competition so if there's no struggle there than it really isn't worth it to them. AnswerHow do they become distant and avoid you if they are pursueing you. That just doesnt make any sense at all. If your saying that he's avoiding you now that you have given him attention thensome dynamic in the relationship has changed. Maybe you should take the hint and move on and findsomeone who does not want to play games. AnswerThere is the theory that guys like a chase and may or may not know what to do when the chase is over....something like that :). There is the theory that the guy should always be the one pursuing and he could b turned-off if he got too much attention all of the sudden because it is like you are persuing him. There's the rubberband theory that men need to stretch-out before they can snap back to you again. There is the, "He's just not that into you" theory and if it is a new relationship or if there is not relationship yet, that could be the theory that probably applies. Don't worry about it. Don't try to get his attention. Give him tons of space and set your boundaries. Make sure he asks you out on a date if he would like your attention...let him show you he wants your attention before you give it to him. I would not call him, keep e-mails brief and be careful to accept a date with him if he asks you out without any kind of advanced notice (that's not so much of a date but an afterthought). Take care of your heart and don't get attached to a guy who is not showing he is into you.

Men may become distant or avoidant when they were pursuing you and you give them attention because they might have been more interested in the chase than in forming a genuine connection. They may also feel overwhelmed or unsure of how to proceed once they have your attention, causing them to pull back. Additionally, some individuals may have commitment issues or fear getting too emotionally involved.
