Why do men not like fat girls and think its funny to make hurtful remarks regarding weight and looks?

* Not true, some men love larger girls, and if you don't it's never right to denigrate someone. * For the most part it is true that some men who are immature and self centered and basically unsure of themselves can and will make comments regarding an over weight woman or even what they consider to be a homely woman (of any age), but they generally make these comments when they have an audience such as friends around. These people are to be ignored for their ignorance and basically pitied because everything screams 'I'm insecure!' If the person was confident and secure within themselves they wouldn't have to make hurtful remarks towards a over weight woman. There are girls of many shapes, sizes and weights in this world and if we all looked the same it would be a very boring world. Large women are coming out more and more and standing up for their rights and when they have the confidence to dress well can be extremely striking. However, if the weight is not solid it would be to that person's benefit (for health reasons) to go on a proper diet such as 'Weight Watcher's) and perhaps get a friend to go with them for fast walks for an hour; swimming, etc., or join a gym if they can afford it. Eat healthy and keep moving. Know that a high percentage of women that look perfect to others have weak spots that they don't like about themselves. That is because society (media, movies, magazines) have instilled what it considers 'perfection' to be when it's truly 'beauty is in the eye of the beholder.' You can be very pretty with a perfect figure and have a personality like a bag of nails and men will soon tire of these types of women, so basically, all women have a problem to some degree. No one is perfect and once you realize that and strive to be the best you can be then you should have all the confidence in the world. Thin is going out and what they use to call 'robust or full-figured women) are coming back in fast and furiously. Many men like a woman with what they comment on as 'they have a little more meat on their bones' or, 'all the more to love.' A women's body can change many times over the period of her lifetime. Remember, when someone is going on about another's looks or what they don't like about them implies this person is not confident within themselves. There are men out there that will be wise enough to love you for who you are and not what you look like.
