Little food, no water, very hot during the day, and can be very cold during the night.
Who says it is hard to survive in the desert? I live in the Chihuahuan Desert and love it. While the summers can be quite hot, people take precautions during the hottest time of the day. However, winter is a different story. While much of the country is in a deep freeze and folks are digging out from deep snow, we are enjoying temperatures in the 60s or 70s and lots of sunshine. Nearly all of us have running water and indoor Plumbing, electricity as well as air coolers. I live a half mile from a Wal*Mart Super Center so have no problem purchasing food and other items and I can drive there on a paved street. From by back yard I can see mountains just a few miles away. Please do not tell anyone about how great the desert is as we do not want hordes of people moving here
If you have a water and food supply not really it might get really hot but it wouldn't be too bad.
It is hard because of the heat and low water supply
