Why do black men like white women?

It was because down through the years of racism and slavery black men were not allowed to have any contact with White women. So when they became free they went after the white women because it was like they were so better than Black women (and you women out there know how stupid men can be). So sense they were free it was like "okay now i can do what ever i want" and so they went after what they thought was better. (Trust me my daddy did the same thing). But really nothing is better than to have a Black women but the black men were too dumb and brainwashed to know what was true... Then again like that other person said Black men just got tired of the ignorance being put up by them so they just wanted to try a White woman.

Another view:

It could be insecurity. Secure people date within their own race and want to preserve their own culture. Black men who date White women could be suffering Stockholm Syndrome to want to date their own abusers and those who are racist against them. White female culture has passivity ingrained into it. So many Black men are raised to be insecure and emotionally weak and to hide it with grotesque displays of dominance and violence. So to them, White women are just another conquest, someone to dominate and use up. You can also see self-hate in the White women they do attract. They tend to be depressed/mental, on drugs, unattractive, or quite obese, so they turn to any man that will show them attention, regardless of ulterior motives.

It is probably in part because of stereotypes about various attributes such as their athletic abilty and genital size.

I'm a White girl who likes Black men and it's simply a preference, like people who like blondes. I like the way they look, and when it come to black Americans, I like the way they walk/talk. It's nothing special, it's attraction. Each person on earth has their own turn ons and offs, Black men just turn some of us on.

• With many individuals there is no racial discrimination and some times people simply fall in love with another race. Love is love and it does not always have to do with the color of one's skin. There is nothing to prove that Caucasian men always prefer black women.

Another view White men who like Black women simply love them or think they are attractive. Unlike with a handful of Black men who date White women to use them, abuse them, have a trophy wife, act out his racial hate, attempt genocide in the form of "ethnic cleansing," or make a political statement, White men who date outside their race rarely have such ulterior motives. In my neighborhood, Black men prey on White women, demand to have sex with them, and pretty much ruin them financially and socially. I did meet a White man who dated a Black woman who actually pulled her down, since he had more "Black" culture than she did. So obviously, they were made for each other.
