A periwinkle usually grazes on surfaces with algae on, but it can also eat small invertebrates such as a barnacle larvae. They use their radula to scrape algae off of rocks.
All the Periwinkles are safe to eat. Find them by the sea, at low tide, on the rocks and under the seaweeds.
no a sea snail is faster than a land snail
A sea snail is exactly like a snail but they live in the sea and feed on different prey. Sea snails have one big foot, the slimy thing on the bottom, thst helps them to stick on stuff and slide along. Sea snails eat algae, fish food flakes(yes it is really kul), pellets and sometimes even rice(only some species but I advise u not to feed them rice some species can't take it and they die). Watch out for their eggs!! They can breed very quickly and my advice is to kill some but keep sum. (Sry i went a bit off topic).
