Most likely the cluster, but it could be the sending unit.
If the fuel gauge is stuck, the needle never moves, then the gauge has a problem and needs to be replaced.
no
Because you touch yourself at night
Mine does, too.. Annoying.
There is no reset button for the fuel gauge. Something is either wrong with the gauge or the sending unit in the tank.
the gauge is the measurement of how big around the stud or needle is
The 21 gauge is a smaller needle.
If the vehicle will stall and will not restart or appears to be out of fuel but the fuel gauge reads above empty, replace the fuel sensor assembly and auxiliary tank fuel level sensor if equipped. if not, replace the instrument cluster.
Gauge is the term that indicates the diameter of the needle. Most commonly the needles that are used for medical purposed range from 7 Gauge to 33 Gauge, according to the Stubs scale. 7 Gauge needle will have the largest diameter while as the number increase, the diameter decreases. Therefore the 33 Gauge needle has the smallest diameter. So a 26 Gauge needle will have a smaller diameter than that of the 18 Gauge needle.
Yes, the larger the gauge the smaller the needle size.
Yes, a 30 gauge needle would be tiny, while an 8 guage needle is huge.
Sounds like you have kink in your fuel line somewhere.
