Either switch is not working or motor is not connected or bad
First check switch Clean or vacuum around switch ,sometimesdirt gets underneath button and button doesn't engage.After this go to motor ,behind back seat underneath black shelf Lift up black shelf behind back seat inspecct motor ,make sure all wires to motor are connected ,remove rubber plug on motor and see if fluid level is full.If not fill with dexron ll or dexronlll ATF automatic Transmission Fluid To check motor connect to 12V power source (battery)
-> either the wires are ripped off, or they are bent or have fallen from the pulley or the motor doesn't work
take it to a shop.. pay the 300 and its garaunteed.. its an involved process that the haynes doesnt show
Means the A/C doesnt work..... dont try fixing it yourself you'll waste more money trying to recharge the system your self then if you brought it to a reliable shop.

Drierside under car. Up on left front of transmission case. Transmission pressure switch. If it doesnt see transmission fluid pressure the car will not start.
