The Christians believe in Jesus Christ. They form the largest group among the religions of the world. However, for the remainder of peoples there are several reasons why they reject the Divinity of Christ:
Other Religious Traditions: Many people grow up with their own religious traditions which they believe explain the world and its purpose better than the Christian narrative. These people choose to not believe. Additionally, Judaism and Islam developed longstanding doctrines against accepting Jesus do to external pressure from Christians.
Complicated Theology: The idea of a Christian Messiah is complicated and has a number of moving parts. First, you have to believe in original sin. Then you have to believe in an Afterlife that would judge you for this sin. Then you have to believe that God took on an incarnation in order to sacrifice Himself to Himself in order to vacate the rules of the original sin that He was ultimately responsible for creating. To some, this long-winded process souns ridiculous and unnecessarily confusing.
Third-Party Expiation: Some people see the idea of a person who sacrifices himself as expiation for others' sins to be immoral. We do not allow people to serve someone else's jail time because the person who committed the wrong deed should suffer the consequences. Similarly, they cannot accept Jesus suffering for them because it obviates their own growth and development.
Atheism: Some people are just not convinced by arguments that supernatural entities exist. In this case, Jesus's supernatural claims do not make enough of an impression to merit belief.
Possible Non-Existence: An increasing number of secular scholars doubt whether Jesus was an actual historical personage or a fabricated one. Considering that his existence is not attested to in any contemporary Roman source, it is increasingly difficult to argue that Jesus ever lived. If he did not actually live, then he could not perform any miracles for which he receives worship.

If you are a Christian, there are people who are atheists, or who believe in some other religion, and they are going to give you a hard time. Just learn as much as you can about Jesus and compare Him to other beliefs and you will find out why Christianity is alive and well, 2000 years after Jesus was crucified. There is plenty of evidence that supports Christianity and proofs it's not a belief in nonsense.
