usually cats dont eat the umbilical cord the mother cat was probably cleaning the cat and licked it and it came off but usually the mothers dont eat it the umbilical cord falls off eventually.
A belly button is created by an umbilical cord, so all placental mammals have an umbilical cord. Animals that are hatched would not have an umbilical cord and not have an belly button.
no you dont have a umbilical cord you have a belly button your baby dose not have a belly button yet the umbilical cord attaches to the baby at its belly after its born the umbilical cord is cut giving the baby its belly button. However don't have your belly button pierced while you are pregnant as you will have to take the bar (or whatever) out towards the end.
yes they do. but only while in the egg. the cord is connected to the yolk where it is able to feed. but when the chickens hatch, they dont have a umbilical cord. just a small space where it once was (only for a new born).
it becomes a giant snake and devours the child
The baby receives oxygen and food from the mother's bloodstream through the uterus and the umbilical cord. Neither the lungs nor the digestive system are functional before birth. From the placenta via the umbilical cord.
the chickens that i have dont. When a chick grows in an egg it does have an umbilical cord connecting it to the yolk to give it nourishment while it grows. Once the chick hatches it will come off in a day or two. I am not sure if the umbilical cord is there even if an egg isn't fertilized but I would guess that is what those white stringy things in our eggs are?
by the mother and father mating. Then the baby is Born just like a human child is born. Orangutans are also dont have a umbilical cords.
