Why is your pool water foggy?

You're pool has run out of cholorine. Without a sanatizer your pool will turn cloudy and then green. Shock it right away and make sure you have enough chlorine to sanatize. You also have to run the pump longer to filter out contaminants. You are not adding enough chlor I have a question what if your pool water goes from green to blue foggy water? Then what do u do to fix it? My dad has tried almost everything!

Pool water will not hold chlorine and the pH level is low how can you fix this?

I assume it is an outdoor pool and that you are adding sufficient chlorine. Two reasons why it won't hold chlorine. . . 1. No, or insufficient, conditioner. Sunlight will destroy the chlorine if conditioner is not within 50-80ppm. 2. Phosphates and/or nitrates in the water. Get these checked at your local pool store - or send me a water sample if you can't find anyone to test.E-mail me for address.

Why doesn't chlorine stay in pool water more than 24hrs?

Both the sun and bacteria in the pool breaks down the chlorine. You need to keep up the chlorine level daily to keep the pool clear, either by adding or using tablets in the skimmer as you filter. Ues a test kit to check it.
