The woman may not be mentally or physically strong enough to have the baby, or may not have enough money to raise it. Abortion is bad for teenage girls because : They may regret it It gives the impression that it doesn't matter if they keep getting pregnant because they can just have another abortion (unprotected sex leads to an increase in the cases of STDs and STIs) The teenager may have unsupportive parents However abortion can be seen as good because: It stops overpopulation It is a good idea if the mother cannot cope with a baby at such a young age If the mother is raped or abused, then she doesnt have to carry the rapists child
