Why is the oil change on after you have changed oil in ford Windstar 2003?

Because your car is not smart enough to know the oil was changed. there should be three little buttons to the left or right of the steering wheel. After hitting one of them it will show you 0% oil life in the display. Hold the reset (sometimes called setup) button and you are done.
