Yoga does a lot to calm your body and mind. To slow down the jumping of mind from one thought to another and make it more concentrated and thus effective. With Yoga you can learn to look at things from a distance, to analyze what is happening and be less touched by unpleasant events and less stressed.

It is very hard to tell your mind to calm down and to stop thinking, but we can train and learn how to relax our body. Mind and body being connected, this will result in bringing peace to mind and getting closer to the goal of Yoga.
