They lay soft eggs because they aren't getting enough nutrients in their diet. (More food.) Our littlest duck laid a soft egg, because she got pushed around at the food bowl. I suggest Dumor feeds, they seem to do the trick for chickens and ducks. You can hand feed them to fix this, or put out several food bowls so she can have a chance to eat.
