The force binding the nucleus of an atom is the strongest fundamental force in nature.

There are four fundamental forces in nature. These are the electromagnetic force gravity, the strong nuclear force, and the weak nuclear force. Of these, the strong nuclear force, which binds together the nucleons (neutrons and protons) of atoms, is by far the strongest. It is over 100 times as strong as the electromagnetic force, which, in turn, is far stronger than gravity or the weak nuclear force.

the answer is nucleus

What is dilute energy?

Some sources of energy are described as dilute. This means that large amounts are needed to produce small amounts of useful energy.

What energy is needed to break up a nucleus of an atom?

the nuclear binding energy

What is ionization energy needed for?

There is an attraction of the nucleus for electrons. This attractive force must be overcome to remove an electron. The energy to overcome this attraction and remove an electron from the atom is 'ionization energy'.

Do the electrons of an atom have huge amounts of nuclear energy?

No, the electrons do not have nuclear energy, they are not part of the nucleus. They have binding energy which keeps them attached to the nucleus as part of the atom. When an electron is bound to an atom, it has a potential energy that is inversely proportional to its distance from the nucleus. This is measured by the amount of energy needed to unbind the electron from the atom, and is usually given in units of electronvolts (eV). In the quantum mechanical model, a bound electron can only occupy a set of states centered on the nucleus, and each state corresponds to a specific energy level. The lowest energy state of a bound electron is called the ground state, while an electron at a higher energy level is in an excited state. The binding energy of electrons is many orders of magnitude less than the binding energies in the nucleus, and atoms are easily ionised by stripping off electrons.

Why isn't fermantation not an ideal energy source for humans?

the nucleolus is inside your nucleus which is also inside of the nuclear membrane, which protects the nucleus of any other 'not needed' organelles to come inside of the nucleus.

Why is it that only small amounts of uranium are needed to produce the same electricity as large amounts of coal?

Because the energy released by nuclear fission is extremely great compared with the energy released by coal burning.

What is bonding energy?

A energy bond is needed when bonds are broken released when bonds are formed .

Why is THE nucleus needed for cell division? well, THE nucleus is needed because it contains DNA, the building blocks and director of your cells.....

Why do humans use carbohydrates for energy rather than lipids?

If one inspects the reactions needed to burn lipids for energy, it becomes obvious that tremendous amounts of oxygen are needed and humans do not have the necessary lung capacity for this.

What is the porpose of a nucleus and nucleus?
