∙ 9y agoNuclear fission reactors are used for power generation, for powering submarines, for research, radioisotope production (used for medical purposes mainly), and saline water Desalination. Nuclear fission energy is not polluting environment and the generated kWh from nuclear fission is cheaper than other energy resources.
