^Maybe you should learn how to write properly before giving advice on dropping nukes. Or atleast learn how to click the "Spell check" button.
23 atomic bombs were being prepared in 1945 to drop on Japan, not just 2.
The other solution was available, landing and invasion. But this would have taken at least another year, over a million US troops lives and many million Japanese lives.
The atomic bombs saved well over an order of magnitude more lives than they cost.
It wasn't exactly wrong to drop the atomic bomb an Japan because it ended the war that had been going on for a long time before the dropping. It was regrettable that so many Japanese lives were lost, but it was for a reasonably good cause: to end the war. Formal enuf 4 ya?
Few are going to share that viewpoint as it ended the war much sooner and did save countless lives. Russia, Germany and Japan were all working on it at the same time. The US getting it first is the only thing that saved the Earth. The US bombed Japan out of respect for Japan- I know that sounds strange, but they were such fierce fighters on the islands, can you imagine the death toll defending their own soil. Besides the bomb only caused the same carnage as a weeks worth of bombing runs by conventional means anyway which would have happened (and more) if US had not used them. It was also responsibly done-in the atmosphere, to minimize radiation, which the US did not have to do. Finally, Einstein wrote to Roosevelt which is the reason why the project was undertaken in the first place. If the world's best minds thought it was a good idea after weighing all the evidence, majority are bound to agree when considering same things they did.
The bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, could be considered a crime against humanity, because of the great loss of life that was inflicted upon Japan. How ever the way that the two cities were built, amongst hills, greatly decreased the effectiveness of Fat Man, and Little Boy (the two bombs). The alternative, an invasion of Japan would have been worse with more casualties on between the USA. and Japan. I hate to sound callous, but the nuclear bombing of Japan was beneficial for our side, during the cold war. It helped to deter the Soviet Union from launching an ICBM strike against us, because we were, and are, the only country in the world who ever used nuclear weapons against another nation during war.
