One reason is that it conflicts with the teachings in The Bible that states "Be fruitful and multiply".
In a nutshell it's about being open to life; trusting God with the size of your family. Also, using contraception is like saying "I like everything about you, except your fertility," or "Hey, lets have lifeless love together. Sound good?"
The only religion that I'm aware of that rejects contraception is the Roman Catholic Church. They feel that barrier/hormonal contraception is unnatural and contradicts God's commandment for humans to "be fruitful and multiply"
There are many reasons why people may object to contraceptives. From the perspective of the woman who may be using them, there are health concerns, such as the side effects of artificial hormones. Or in the case of latex condoms, either partner could have an allergic reaction.
However, a large part of why people may oppose the use of birth control is cultural or religious. For people who believe that sex is wrong, or dirty, contraceptives can be considered a contributor to immoral behavior. Others view reproduction as a sacred activity and contraception as interference with the divine.
Still, some people may object because they want lots of babies, or they may simply dislike using it. There are many reasons.
People would disagree because it is not natural. The Creator YHWH made us and said that children are a blessing. To use contraception is to say to the Creator Yehowah that you do not want children and therefore also no blessing.
Beliefs cause disagreements.
I didn't know anyone in their right mind would disagree with it.
The suffix "contra" means against or opposite. It is commonly used in words like contradict (speak against), contrast (show differences), and contraband (illegal goods).
This is an equation I've never seen before, but in all honesty with 50% of all marriages ending in divorce - if both people agree that using contraception is a positive thing for their relationship - then I will guess 40% vs 60% of people who disagree about using contraception. Most people find having children adds a ton of stress to their marriage, if the marriage is floundering adding children to the mix usually doesn't help a marriage in trouble. A marriage that is strong and healthy may be better equipped to deal with the stress.
yhh
Atheists do not have a position to agree or disagree with people converting to anything, it is the convertors own choice. However some atheists would disagree with converting to a religion because they believe religion to be untrue and thus that converting someone would be to feed him or her untruths.
It would depend on personal preference. Many people would disagree.
Some people would agree with that, others would disagree.
Nobody, why disagree?
they disagree
14 -16 but a lot of people would disagree
Mostly, alternative, but other people would disagree.
When people disagree with your ideas you should try to find facts to prove that your point of view is sound and reasonable. You can also consider why people disagree with you and make adjustments to your idea if necessary.
