If I only had those 2 choices...
I would use ALCOHOL since Mercury freezes at -38.72° Celsius.
The North Pole can get down below -50° Celsius.
Ethanol (alcohol) freezes at -114 ° Celsius
Methanol (alcohol) freezes at -97.8° Celsius
You could use whichever you want. But a mercury thermometer would not
show you the temperature when it's below minus 38 degrees, because that's
the temperature at which mercury freezes. You could keep the thermometer
inside the laboratory building where it's warm, or in your shirt next to your
body when you're outside, but that would kind of defeat the purpose of the
thermometer.
You would have to use mercury. Alcohol would freeze.
sometimes it is too cold that the mercury freezes
Because the freezing point of the mercury is -38,83 0C. The temperature at the South pole can be -80 0C.
The answer is alcohol
An Alcohol thermometer would be the best as it is more sensitive than the mercury thermometer.
Because its the second smallest planet. 76 south and 96701 pplz w/hea ;)
Argon gas would increase the insulation value of the glass, some sun spaces especially those with glass ceilings have as problem of getting too hot. Low e coating would reduce the amount of sunlight coming through the windows. The book THE SOLAR HOUSE recommends no low e coating on the south side of solar houses.
The weakest part of Earth's magnetic field is near the magnetic North and magnetic South poles. This is where magnetic field lines intersect with the Earth, and where you are most likely to see auroras during periods of high solar wind activity.
Hi there magnets work this way North to North Repels South to South Repels but South To north attracts. If you have unmarked magnets or they just repel your magnet may be dogy stroke it with another magnet one way this will make it a stronger magnet and correct it if ome f the fibres are running in different directions.

i wouldnt be id fight for the south
The Mercury - South Africa - was created in 1852.

No they don't have any glass problems.

The temperature indicator is called a thermometer. The birds flying south are a good indicator of winter's approach.
There is Glass Roots in downtown Mishawaka but that is the only one in that area.
