Most want to help sick people, some want to help cure a disease that affected them or a loved one, some want the power that doctors get, some want a good paing job, some want a job they can move to any country and do (doctors are accepted almost anywhere regardless of where they were trained). All are valid reasons but the ones like power and money shouldn't be the ONLY reasons. You should have compassion and a real interest in people or you won't be a good doctor.

∙ 13y agoThe power you have to save lives. Thst kind of power is not something that you will get from a 9-5 job and makes it an extremely rewarding career and one that it is incredible to be a part of.

to become doctor is a dream of every hard working person but there are to many difficulties you must spend 10 hours or more in study because if your parent want you to be a doctor than go for it because it is the best profession in the world because you serve the humanity.This profession give you respect as compare to any other profession.

∙ 14y agoYou see there are different types of doctors in the world and different people like different jobs ... take me for example... i want to be a Pediatrician. why? because i love kids and want to help them. or take a cancer surgeon.... he or she might want to be a doctor because maybe he or she wants to save peoples life or maybe even cause their very close friend or family suffered from cancer!
so you see, different people want to be different things for their own reasons!
and remember, its OK if you don't want to be a doctor ! maybe you like art , English and taking pictures so you can be a photographer like my best friend. or maybe you like the business subject so you can be a business person! no one is forcing you! I'm sure even your parents wants what best for you and want to see you doing something you love!
so take time to decide what you want to do, your not in a hurry.
