Will a false pregnancy pseudocyesis give a positive test result on a home pregnancy test?
Although I do not have a uterius, flopian tubes, or a vagina i still know that if a home pregnancy test is negative that the result is not completely accurate. My professional advice would be to take home 5 pregnancy test that you would get in your everyday grocery store and whether it be positive or negative when they're is 5 tests it doubles the accuratacy. If 3 out of the 5 say you are pregnant than most likely you will be expecting. If 3 out of the 5 say you are not pregnant than most likely you are not, but home pregnancy tests are man made and have errors, so i would still see your doctor to confirm the home pregnancy test.

False negatives are usually caused by testing too early. Either you are testing too soon before your period is due, or you had an irratic cycle and ovulated late and it's just… too early to pick up the pregnancy hormone. Some women online have taken multiple tests and gotten negatives, then later got a positive.. it was just too early. ~pawsalmighty
Answer . \nFalse positives are very rare, less than one in a hundred positive tests are false.\n. \nHowever with the very sensitive tests nowadays it may show up positive …and then you have a very early miscarriage.\n. \nEven 20 years ago tests were not that sensitive and women 'miscarried' at the time of their period without ever realising they were pregnant.
Do 4 month expired pregnancy tests give false results if so do they give false positive or false negative?
I took a pregnancy test today that expired in May of 2008 today and it said positive, though I dont think I am pregnant. So I cant really give you a for sure answer. I have 2 …kids so I know what it feels like to be pregnant, Im not feeling anything, so I would say that they can give either.
No, it shouldn't do
Sometimes a pregnancy test can fail, and some are known to give false readings during times of menstruation, where hormones are present. Take another test, and see if the resu…lts differ. If not, you can always consult your doctor, who can do a proper test for you. This can either be a simple urine analysis, or a blood test. i had unprotected sex prior to marina coil fitted. now testing positive result can it be the hormones in coil making it positive
They sometimes can, and that's why it's a good idea to use a few different ones (different brands) if you want to be really sure. They can especially give a false positive if …they're past the expiration date, or also for other reasons like hGC injections and some illnesses. The most common reason to get a false positive is making a mistake in doing the test.
Yes it can, if you feel you have a tubal pregnancy you need to see a doctor because if it goes on too long it can cause serious health problems and even death.
there is always an error factor but with a blood test you can be pretty sure its correct.
heck yes you can. i just found out i am three months pregnant after taking three false negatives and then finally going to the doctor because i hasn't had my period for …three months. and they told me i was pregnant. so yeah it i s possible. very much so.
The test could be very cheap or poorly made causing it to mess up your reading.
Yes, it's possible, although they are usually 98% correct. The best thing to do is do another one
Based on only my experience with pregnancy tests, they are pretty accurate. Whether you are miscarrying, having an ectopic pregnancy, or just flat out pregnant, the test shoul…d read it. The hormone HCG comes from the baby, not from the woman. So, if you are testing positive, there is definitely something inside you. However, I have only heard that some women that have already miscarried and werent' aware of it may still test positive a few days after.
ask a doctor weirdo.!
Ovarian cysts can cause a false negative result. In the case a woman knows she has cysts or PCOS, and believes herself to be pregnant despite a negative result on a home pregn…ancy test, scheduling a blood test with her practitioner would be advised.
Yes. They do. Usually after 14 day of ovulation menses starts, if a lady is not pregnant. In irregular cycles, ovulation is also irregular and pregnancy test usually requires …certain level of Human Chorionic Gonadothrophin hormone to be detected and as such they give false Negative results.(Fertilized ovum takes about 8 days to implant in uterus and then starts to secrete H. C. G. and till then most sensitive test can not become positive.) By the way, irregular cycles lower down the chances of pregnancy and it is NOT a disease but routine preventive check up by your Doctor is good for EVERYBODY.( A stitch in time, saves nine !)
