usually american bulldogs have 5 pups at a time
If they are weaned 3 times a day Im guessing it would be the same if they were not too. It kinda depends on how old they are.
You would produce crossbreds, Half German Shepherd and Half Bulldog. Mind you the pups may not be the best looking, having picked up both traits and appearance from two totally different 'built' breeds.
4 puppies is average for French Bulldogs.
On average 11 pups with 9 being at the lower e nd and up to 16 at the highest
In some cases an English bulldog may be able to give birth to a few puppies naturally, but will usually need to have a Cesarean section in order to deliver the rest. This is because bulldogs were bred to have small hindquarters and large heads, thus making natural whelping quite difficult, if not dangerous. The typical purebred English Bulldog does require a C-section every-time she has a litter.
French Bulldogs can often be purchased through breeders if you are looking for a registered purebred puppy. They also have many bulldog rescue groups that offer dogs of that breed for adoption. Contacting pet stores to find out of breeders in the area or if they have any pups available for purchase is one means. You can also contact your local animal shelter and see if they have any of that breed available for adoption.
If all your pups die, you start over, so yes, technically you get new ones.
Its not very serious. It can be corrected by a simple surgery. However you should understand that if you are planning to breed the bulldog, the pups are prone to getting cherry eye as well.
