Will the 16 valve clyinder head from a 1989 suzuki samurai be a direct replacement for the 8 valve clyinder head for that year?

you would also need to replace both intake and exhaust manifolds. also, does the new head have a provision to power a mechanical fuel pump? The 2 valve per cylinder head has a shaft driven off the back of the camshaft to power a mechanical fuel pump. I know later samurais used fuel injection, so they needed a more powerful fuel pump and did not have the mechanical low pressure fuel pump that would deliver fuel to a carb.
