What payments are you referring to? It sounds as if the clause refers to the preliminary payments that are often secured PRIOR to allowing the tenant to move in and the lease actually going into effect (i.e.: security deposit - pet deposit - utility deposits - etc). If you've been living there and the payments you are referring to are your rental payments - too late - the lease is already in full effect.
That there is some easy amendments that are easy to establish while there are some amendments that take some time to think about before establishing them.

You have to make whatever payments are required as determined by the BK analysis, which should be lower than trying to make all your normal payments.

I had this very same instance come up and the police were called. They told me that as long as the payments were being made and you have proof of you making the payments on time, the cosigner has to leg to stand on when trying to take the car. So NO your cosigner can not take the car.
