what makes my 2002 inside lights will work during the day but not night, my dashlight, speedometer ,radio lights
The "trip odometer" on the dashboard doubles as a dimmer. So, the solution to no lights inside the Toyota Sienna is to turn the trip odometer up to turn the lights back on.
Dashboard area where guages, speedometer, & lights are located
Turn the stem for the odometer reset
Should read "...speedometer and odometer don't work..."
You turn the trip odometer button on the dash.
I need to know also. My dashboard instrument cluster lights are out and can't see the speedometer.
The car going down hill symbol on the speedometer. What does it indicate?
I've researched this on the Internet and apparently the trip odometer button also serves as the dimmer for the dashboard lights. If you turn it (anti)-clockwise, your dash lights should come on. Its mentioned obscurely in the manual.
Try the fuse box, prolly a burnt out fuse.
If the interior lights and overdrive are also not working then is a fuse. Look in the owners manual to see which fuse.
dashboard lights arent white because in daytime you wouldn't be able to see the lights flash
