Yes, it is possible for many reasons. For one your urine could have been diluted which would affect the results. Morning urine is the best to use when conducting a pregnancy test. Some medications can alter the accuracy of pregnancy test. Your timing of the test could have also been a factor. Some pregnancy test say "Results 5 days before your missed period." But the ability to detect pregnancy may only be 30%-40% at that time. If you are concerned, just take another test with morning urine and no less than 1 day before your missed period.
Of course. There is always room for error. If you are very worried, go out and try one more of a different brand, as long as it is still reliable. If the second one says you are pregnant, then congratulations.
Yes, lithium can cause a false pregnancy on a pregnancy test.
There is no false positive pregnancy test result. If it has ever been positive, then it is positive.
No , but a negative test can be a false positive .
If you took a pregnancy test too early, you could have a false negative. There are seldom false positive's though.
No, in perimenopause hormones begin to decrease. You cannot have a false positive test.
No.
If the test is done properly, the chances to give false positive test are very slim indeed.
if it says pregnate it could be a false positive meaning you could have cancer instead
Perform another pregnancy test
False positive pregnancy tests are VERY RARE! False negatives are more common, especially when the test is done too soon after conception. If you have a negative pregnancy test and don't start your period redo the test in 3 days.
Yes, if the miscarriage was recent then your hormone levels are still not back to normal and it could cause a false positive result on a pregnancy test.
