I am not sure why anyone would eat corn starch, although there is a condition associated with pregnancy called Pica. Pica is the strange cravings that some women get during pregnancy. Women have been know to eat certain foods such as pickles and ice cream, but also clay, cigarette butts, and ice. Stop eating the starch and discuss it with you OB doctor.

There have been no studies to prove that hair dye is harmful to an unborn baby. However if you have reservations about using regular dye you could use a vegetable based dye which is "said" to be safer.
