It could be bad spark plugs. try changing your plugs.
Since the Cavalier is out of timing, check the timing gears and belt. It sounds like the belt has slipped and is causing the base problem with the car.

hi don't know what you have buy sounds like v-8 Chevy tbi and should be broken wire to that inj. i believe they splice but not 100% sure. you need to trace back to ecm
