you got the wires wrong, most likely a ground wire got hooked up to a hot wire. The Orange Illumination Wire is grounding out somewhere this wire should not be hooked up at all on a 1989 model.
Most likely your car battery is completley dead.
most likely that would be a fuse
the iso plug (black connectors) are wired up wrong, it has given the light circuit a constant live
Your battery is dead and you should probably take it to the repair shop and have them put it in for you. Couldn't it be the starter motor? The lights and radio come on, so there must be some juice and the battery.
It can be: * The headlight switch (there are multiple parts to the switch, for headlights, tail lights, dash lights) * A fuse (but if a fuse has blown out you need to figure out why, typically that's caused by a short) * A bad wire or connector.
is this truck is a good truck i like to know if this truck is a good truck what is wrong with this truck
either because it has no permanent live wire or because you have the positive and ignition wires on the radio loom the wrong way round.
Check the fuses
If the dome lights and the radio went out at the same time on a 1997 Isuzu Rodeo, it could be a fuse. There are two fuse boxes on that vehicle. One is on the passenger side in the engine compartment and one is located in the dash on the driver's side. The fuse for the radio is in the dash fuse box.
If it is the illuminating lights you are referring to in all three instances, it sounds like either a fuse to that circuit has blown or the bulbs themselves have burnt out and need replacing.
I'm not sure what you mean. If your truck lights work, there's nothing wrong with the fuses. You likely need to replace the trailer plug adapter. It's an inline y-connector that hooks in.
Question's a bit too vague to be answered with any certainty. Most likely, you either have a short somewhere, or a bad relay.
