the bulbs have a double filament so one could be bad, i had that problem and there was no light but when i hit the brakes it would go on
try and replace the bulb(s)
I had the same problem on a gmc truck. The problem was an in line fusable link
I had a similar problem with my 1991 Maxima. The dashboard lights did not work. I could not find a fuse. Then I noticed the parking lights did not work. I could not find a fuse. Finally I noticed the tail lights did not work. I checked the fuse and it was burnt. After replacing it all is okay again.
CHECK FUSABLE LINKS AND THE IGNITION SWITCH.FOR 12VOLT REF
Check battery Check battery cables for corrosion or looseness Check fusable link
check the dome light fuse that could be the problem.......or interior fuse Instrument lights.
check for a loose ground wire
If you have no brake lights or tail lights then you've probably got an electrical problem. Check the fuses first and see if you have one or more blown.
next to battery box is a small black thing it has 2 fusable links going to it it powers ur lights there the fuses r 30 amps check for corosion or a lot of rust water gets on it when it rains they were my problem also it fixed blinker problem
check your ground wire in the back
The interior lights are controlled by the headlight switch and are protected by a fuse.
I'm no expert, but it could be a battery or alternator related problem.
Probably the turn signal flasher
