Your 1999 Alero does not blow warm air but the blower does work why?

There can be many resons for this. A common cause for this is an air pocket in the cooling system if the 3.4l v6 engine. Air pockets can be cause by low coolant level, or more serious engine problems- I.E. leaking intake manifold gaskets, blown head gaskets.

You don't say the reason for the blower motor replacement. Did it not blow ? If that be the case, and you do have a new blower, check for 12 volts to blower. Could also Abe a malfunctioning blower module. Now if its blowing COLD air, well , replacing the blower moter wont make it blow warm. There could be numerous causes of that problem

Check the blower motor put the fan on and see if it blows on high if it doesn't replace the blower motor if it does blow high replace switch
