Your 2001 jeep grand Cherokee ac fan quit is it a relay or the fan?

bad relay it is located under the passengers head lamp under the header panel remove the head lamp and use a 3 inch hole saw to gain access to it is is screwed to the header with 8mm bolts and a 4 prong plug dose not look like a relay

shorted fan control module should be freebie from dealer (defect design,high failure rate part) if you diy you must clean ,lightly sand,and install special dielectric gel where the part is mounted to the passenger inside frame rail. the part generates high heat and the part has a heat sink to disipate heat through the frame

is it the blower fan if so they make a replacement harnerss from dealer 120.00 If the rad fan relay keeps failing, replace the radiator fan.

Most likely the relay. If the relay fails repeatedly then the fan needs replaced.
