Regretably, have exactly the same issue. So far, gas tank, gas cap as well as various valves have been replaced...all under warranty. But can't get car thru inspection. Welcome hearing any remedy you find! 22,000 miles. SPKorn@worldnet.att.net It depends on the code that the check engine light in throwing. If it says gas cap, I'd have the evaporation chamber looked at. I have a 99 Prizm with a check engine light, and that's what was wrong with mine. Good luck!
