With the 3.5L motor it is definitely a chain. Should be maintenance free, but if it or the camshaft are not being properly oiled it could lock up causing extensive repair costs.
No practical way to repair a broken motor mount. Replace it with a new one.
If it is just the wiper itself, and not the motor, you should be able to repair this yourself. There are online instructions on how to perform this work rather easily.
