if the windows switches are on the door panel, you may have broken wires between the door and the body.
Before you try anything else, make sure the window lock switch on the driver side control is not turned off !
I would replace the master window switch
I would check the switches first then check the window motor for passengers side.
each time the driver's door is opened and closed the electrical harness between the door and the door pillar is flexed, often this causes a break in the wiring, make shure there is power and no broken wires.
If the passenger side works fine and there is no power at the driver side motor, I would suspect the switch. A weak motor will overheat the switch causing it to melt inside where the contacts are.
There is only one fuse for all power windows. If only the passenger side window does not work, the problem is either with the passenger window switch or the motor on that window.
Check the fuse box for blown fuses.
Check to see if you are getting power to the motor if so window motor is defective Could be open wire usually in the door jamb area
Look at the opposite window. Driver side windows are often simalair to there opposing window. Some parts are reversed for obvious reasons.
Hi, The problem with your pass side window is the drivers side power window switch. I have had this same problem on my 1993 Aerostar.
Run another dedicated hot wire to the drivers window switch. This will provide power to that window no matter if the driver cuts the power or not.
the window switch is bad
