Well I would have to say, if your friend knew she was your girlfriend and knew you loved her very much, he should have stayed away from her. If he thinks those things about your girlfriend, that is lust.. and lust is a sin. He may be, or may have been, a good friend, but he has done something wrong to you. You should go and confront him, tell him that the fact he betrayed you really hurt you inside becasue you trusted him, and you don't want him loving your girlfriend. If he wants to apologise you should forgive him and let him still be your friend, but if you do that you should watch out because he may do bad against you again in the future. But if he doesn't apologise because he's not sorry about it, he's not being a good friend. You should still forgive him even if he's not sorry, but you shouldn't hang around him anymore if he's not sorry for what he did, because that isn't a good thing.
