your blower motor resistor is most likely failing. sometimes that's an indication of a failing blower motor, but typically, it's a resistor module failure

Why does the heat blower only work on low and medium but not on high?

the blower resistor controls the fan speeds

Why does heat fan on Toyota Solara only work on high?

You most likely have a bad blower motor resister.......

Why does the heater fan only work on the high position on a 2001 Chrysler Sebring?

The most common cause is a failed blower motor resistor.

Why does your heat only work when your car is moving?

The heat will also work when the car is turned on, but not moving. It uses heat from the engine.

What would cause the AC and heat to only work when switched to the high position?

AnswerYou have identified the problem when you state that it only works in the high position. Your switch has variable speeds, it contains resistors that control the speed of the fan, for both AC/Heat. These resistors are burned out/or the connector to the resistors has become unplugged. The resistors are located in different locations so please get your auto manual to locate there position, and verify there operation. Most cars have a simple blower motor resistor that provide the low-medium speeds. If it burns out the fan defaults to high speed - the most safe 'default'.Walk into any auto parts and tell them your car only blows high and they'll immediately know what you need.In most Ford vehicles this is a 10 minute, 2 screws procedure that most anyone can handle.

Why does my heat in my 1999 dodge caravan only work when you turn the heat on high?

a bad blower motor resistor heat normally used on medium and high medium usually burns out those speeds first till only high is left normally located right back under glove box on heater box/core line usually 20-40$

What is the difference between the first and secong law of thermodynamics?

The first law of thermodynamic show that heat transfer is equal to work. But he does not give the direction as that system is consuming work or doing work. Whereas the second law of thermodynamic give the direction as (1) Heat can flow naturally from high temperature to low temperature. When heat is flowing from high temperature to low temperature he can produce work.(2)Heat can not flow naturally from low temperature to high temperature.for flowing heat from low temperature to high temperature he consume work. Second law of thermodynamic not only give the direction of heat flow but he also show entropy and quality of energy as high grade energy (mechanical work ) and low grade energy (heat).

How do you find relationship between work and heat practically?

if only heat change is the only change then energy difference is the amount of work done.

Why your ac fan blower work only on high position?

replace your blower motor resistor it is behind the glove box two 8mm bolts

Why does the switch for my 1990 Toyota Camry's air conditioner only work in the high position?

Blower resistor must not be functioning properly. It should be replaced

How do hair straighteners work?

Hair straighteners work basically by using high heat to straighten your hair. Hair is composed of protein, and they change shape under high heat and pressure.
