This is an iOS error. To recover you must connect to iTunes on your computer using a USB cable. You will also need to enter your iPhone passcode.
Go to the I-tunes site and create an account. Then restart your ipod/iphone and try connecting to the app store again.
You have to have iTunes. That is why it is saying that you need to connect to iTunes. You have to download the latest version of iTunes from Apple's website, and open it up when you have the iPod connected to the computer.
Plug it in to iTunes, press Restore. It should restore your iPhone to its factory settings, thus killing the jailbreak.
I ended up contacting apple and they sent me a new phone free of charge
Just plug it into a computer with itunes and find the update button within itunes. It should come up on a screen saying that a new iOs is available would you like to update!
If you are referring to the iTunes Wi-Fi Store application, the iPhone automatically installs the app with the Software Update to version 1.1.2. This update can be installed by syncing your iPhone with a connected computer and selecting "update" in iTunes. No need to add iTunes to iPhoneiTunes does not need to be added. Music can be played by the iPhone without adding any programs, you simply need to create a playlist on your computer (using iTunes) and set your iPhone to sync with that playlist.Get a computer download i tunes onto it then sync your phone
OS=Operating Systemyou are basicly saying that how much is iPhone 'operating sytem' 4 which is well free you can download the OS update free from itunes however if you was meant to say how much is iPhone 4 well I'll say iPhone 16gb between £400-£500 but it depends what shop it is

To begin with, make sure your iPod is completely off. Then, make sure your iPod is completely turned off. Plug in the USB into the iPod, and hit the home button for about 5 seconds until the Apple logo shows up, and a screen comes on having the iTunes logo, and the part of the USB that gets plugged into your computer comes up. Then, iTunes will show up with the message saying that there is an iPod plugged into the computer that is in recovery mode, and it must be restored, so then you hit restore, and it should be restored.
Here are the steps if you have iTunes on the "different computer:" # Connect your iPod to the computer # A window will come up saying that there are songs on your iPod that are not on the computer # It'll ask "Do you want to transfer songs?" # Click: Transfer Songs
You should be able to connect your ipod-touch to your PC computer, you will want to have itunes downloaded on your computer though. You may have itunes all ready in that case when you plug your ipod-touch it will open automatically if not you can download itunes here: http:/www.apple.com/itunes/downloadNOTE: it is set up to download the mac version at the bottom there should be a button saying get itunes for windows click that and it will be set up for windows.otherwise i think you can just use your ipod as a drive and drag and drop music files into it and it should work, but you need itunes to activate your ipod at first.Good luck and have fun.
