Hi, my name is Will. I also have a 1990 Plymouth Laser 2.0 N/T. I ALSO have the same problem. I've checked every sensor you could think of and every time it lead me back to the ECM. The ECM controls all fuel functions including the injectors. What happens is when you turn your key on, the injectors are sent a constant positive signal and it is the ECM's job to send a negative charge to pulsate the injectors. Also if your camshaft position sensor is bad it will not send a signal that the engine is cranking therefore sending no fuel through the injectors. Hope I could help. And good luck.

It is the ECM's job to operate the fuel system. What happens is when you turn your key on the ECM sends a positive charge to the injectors. The ECM then sends a negative charge to the injectors in order to pulsate them according to firing order. Also if the Camshaft Position sensor is bad, the ECM won't know the engine is cranking therefore sending no fuel to the injectors. Hope I could help and good luck.
