I own a 2000 Lincoln LS v8 engine and my key wont come out of my ignition. HELP!!!!!!The key doesn't come out because the mechanical link from the console shifter assy. is worn or broken. Repairing it requires replacing the entire shifter assy. complete with top bezel. Ford only supplies parts the way they were purchased for the assembly process in their plants.
